Time is a funny thing. Whether or not it truly exists, I don’t know. The debate is still ongoing, but I have my doubts. Like so many things in life, it may only be an illusion.
Either way, I think most of us would agree; we seem to have too much of it, or too little. Rarely does it seem just right.
Anyhow, speaking of time, today’s watercolor is the Desert Four O’clock (Mirabilis Multiflora)
This beautiful wildflower grows at higher elevations throughout the state. This particular one was photographed on Montana Mountain, high above the town of Superior.

First of all, let me borrow a line from the Grateful Dead...what a long strange trip its been.
I grew up in Appalachia, not far from Wheeling, West Virginia. I decided at seventeen that working in the coal mines was not for me and soon found myself standing at an on-ramp with my thumb out. It was the Sixties and adventure beckoned.
I'm a self taught artist, primarily focusing on the natural world. I enjoy painting the flora and fauna of this beautiful planet. I currently live in Arizona, and most of my recent works reflect the inhabitants of the Sonoran desert.
